FEDERAL & STATE PROGRAMS
There are many programs and services to help students who do not speak, read, write or understand English well as a result of English not being their home language. The overall goal of the various programs is to improve the English language skills of English Learner students, Immigrant students, Migratory students, and provide information to their parents about the services available.
Expanded Learning Opportunity Program Plan (ELO-P)
The ELO-P provides funding for afterschool and summer school enrichment.
Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP)
The Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) is a three-year plan that describes the goals, actions, services, and expenditures to support positive student outcomes that address state and local priorities. The LCAP provides an opportunity for LEAs (county office of education [COE], school districts and charter schools) to share their stories of how, what, and why programs and services are selected to meet their local needs.
