Red Ribbon Week is an annual campaign in October focused on raising awareness about the prevention of alcohol, tobacco, drug use, and violence in the United States. Established in 1985 as a tribute to fallen DEA agent Enrique Camarena, it is recognized by the United States DEA as the country’s largest and longest-running drug awareness and prevention initiative.
