

Federal and State Programs
The federal government provides K-12 education support through specific grant programs administered by the states to school districts. Those programs include Title I grants under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) and Part B grants under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The rest is provided by the state and local governments.
